Lake Obersee is a natural mountain lake that lies in the Alps, in the extreme south of Germany, close to the Austrian border. It is located in the Nationalpark Berchtesgaden - Berchtesgaden National Park - with a surface area of 38 km2, near much larger Königssee - King's Lake. There are no places of residence nearby, but only one popular tourist attraction - an alpine hut and a pasture run by two dairymen, from mid May to mid October. You cannot catch fish there as well, but only watch multitude of species. Surrounded by ravishing nature.
