The Berlin Cathedral, that we can see in frosted, festively decorated, version on a postcard, was built according to plans by, one of the leading German architects of 19th century, Julius Carl Raschdorff. The temple, built from 1894 to 1905, is one of the largest in Berlin and it is here, where most important ceremonies are held. Furthermore, inside its vaults, one of the most significant crypts of Europe is located - crypt of the Hohenzollern dynasty.
In the background, a prominent symbol - Berliner Fernsehturm - Berlin Television Tower. The highest structure not only in Berlin, but also throughout Germany. It is the fourth tallest freestanding building on continent of Europe too. 368 meters!
